| Me After My Race |
Let me just testify for a moment? I just started racing this year with the
immediate goal of just moving more, learning to run and longer term goal
to complete the Divas half marathon. With today's SF Progressive, I
completed my 3rd race this year, I ran more and I improved my time by 6
minutes (at least 6 minutes, I forgot to stop my watch so it could be a
little more). I'm looking forward to running even more, shaving another
5 minutes off and also going for the next distance - the 10K. Working
my way up to the half in the spring. My Race My Pace!
When I saw everyone racing today, esp my elders and those in wheelchairs today, I just have to thank God for being here and being able.
I also want to say how I appreciate the encouragement and support that I've received by my BGR sisters. We are truly no woman left behind. BGR Rocks!
Ok, time for my nap. Then I'll get up and write my two papers. :)
