The Hardest Step

I got up early this Saturday morning and made it out to the SF Black Girls run meet.  I walked 3 miles this morning at a moderate pace.  I'm working up to running the entire 3 miles.  The Oakland 5K is in two weeks and I plan to walk that.  But by the time the Diva's Marathon rolls around in May I want to run it.  We'll see...Oh and you'll notice I'm decked out in my UNC hat and sweatshirt here. :)

Meanwhile, my Tarheels won the regular season ACC Championship last week with their huge win over dook. We're playing in the ACC Tournament Championship game tomorrow at 10am Pacific time.  I'll be checking out that 8:30 service so I can watch Carolina play :).  LET'S GO TARHEELS!!!

Oh and I started re-reading the Dream Giver again last night.  I got up to the point where Ordinary is leaving the Land of Familiar, leaving his comfort zone and hits the invisible wall of fear...that's what happens so often as we embark upon new challenges so often,  I have hit this wall so many times myself...Whenever I do hit that wall of fear, I HAVE have to find a way to break through that wall of fear and make it happen!
