| Me after my first 5k 3.25.12 |
I finished my first 5k this morning! The Oakland Running Festival had several races. I did the 5k. I walked most of it and it was a challenge especially since I hadn't really worked out the couple weeks leading up to it. But I did it in just under 1 hour.
Next up, Diva's Half Marathon...well, maybe the 5k. I'm not quite ready for 13 miles yet, but I'll work my way up. One of my running buddies from Black Girls Run said she'll do the 5k as well.
