Work It Work It!

I skipped this morning's workout...I had an early morning breakfast meeting with my mentor and chair of my dissertation committee in Berkeley.  It was a very productive meeting.  I left feeling inspired and motivated for this fall semester.  

I ran a few errands after leaving Berkeley including shopping for some furniture.  I was very proud of myself for negotiating today.  I got them to drop by price by almost 20% and that discount included taxes, delivery AND a full warranty.  They say women don't negotiate well...today I rocked it out.  :)  Sure I could have gotten more, but I did pretty good considering I usually don't negotiate well...at least compared to men.  And besides, that was good practice for my next big purchase...a new car.

Since I got home this afternoon and have been focused on schoolwork (after playing online scrabble and making a chicken brocolli cheese casserole, yum) for the rest of the evening.  My goal for today is to finish an outline for my Education Finance overview paper.  Let's get it!
